In the sequel Officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), stripped of his badge due to his kindness and close interaction with a remorseful criminal, is given one last chance to redeem his honour. Brian and his ex-con pal Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) are recruited by the FBI to infiltrate the Miami street racing circuit and collar an international drug lord, Carter Verone (Cole Hauser).
