Lupo (Rodney Dangerfield), an owner of Italian restaurant in NY, hires only the singing waiters and waitresses. He especially likes singing exercises of Gina (Annabelle Gurwitch), a waitress. Unfortunately, his own singing talents are not acceptable at all, what forces Lupo to leave for Italy to take some vocal lessons after Gina rejected him on the plea of his vocal inefficiency. He gets conned by some swindlers who told him they would give him some lessons, then Lupo eventually meets nice and young singer Rosa (opera star Anita De Simone) who takes him to her wine-making family. There, in flourishing Italian countryside the fresh wind and the good wine miraculously transform his voice into an operatic vocal which, however, turns out to be a Grecian horse for him when he is back in NY…
